Station 2









We were challenged with mathematical questions at the station. We learnt how to calculate the costs of taking a shuttle bus from the airport to the city.

Activities at Station 2:

Christian Moeller is an artist who designed the fiberglass propeller, Daisy. ( The picture is on the right )

Next we went to the Changi Wonders of the World. The Sydney Opera House in Australia was designed by John Utzon, a Danish man. It serves as a performing arts centre. This landmark is regarded as one of the greatest Architectural masterpieces of the 20th century.



The Taji Mahal is found in Agra, India. It is a monument of love. This landmark, which is made of white marble, was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan of his beloved wife. The Granduer and rich beauty of the Taj makes it one of the most amazing attractions in the world.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is found in Egypt. This mounument , also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the oldest and largest pyramid. It is the oldest Seven wonders of the world.

The Eiffel Tower, nicknamed La dame de fer, the iron lady is a puddle iron lattice tower located in Paris. Built in 1889, it has become a global cultural icon in the world. The tower is the tallest building in Paris. It was named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel.
